BBS underwent name change on March 1, 2013 as JEC, also known as, Judson Bible College and Seminary named after the first American missionary to Burma, Adoniram Judson, who directly translated the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts into Burmese and completed English-Burmese Dictionary for the people of Myanmar.
